Whole Earth Pathway
I'm Kate Gerard - writer, systems thinker, and regenerative policy advocate living on Hindmarsh Island, South Australia. Whole Earth Pathway is where I explore what it means to live in right relationship with the land: essays, reflections, and practical tools unfolding across a thirteen-node lunar cycle. Soil, water, community, and the systems that hold us together approached slowly, honestly, and with an eye toward what we can actually do, not just what we should believe.
The Pathway
Three ways to walk this pathway with me.
About
I grew up on the land, so I've always had a close kinship and deep respect for Mother Earth. Growing up in the driest state, in the driest inhabited continent only deepened that relationship. Yet still I had more awakening to do. Zara, my fur-baby, has helped awaken me to the world around me again. After beating breast cancer, I saw the world in new eyes, and my newfound daily walks with Zara helped me become more intune with the natural world, and opened my mind to all the threads connecting us all. This was the start of my regenerative journey. I've spent years researching, learning, recognising patterns, and now I'm starting to put these ideas out into the world. I wish to share what I see, and believe - not to convert, but to inspire, to uplift. My morning walks with Zara are where I find my greatest inspiration, where do you find yours?
Support the Work
If Whole Earth Pathway means something to you, here's how you can help it keep going. Every bit of support — a subscription, a one-off coffee, a share with someone who'd love this — helps me keep writing, creating, and building this pathway one moon at a time.
